The waterfront hotel sits on the lovely Crescent Lake, and is inspired by the State of Florida itself. The classic architecture features elaborate fountains and giant palm trees, topped off with a pair of 56-foot dolphins on the roof. Being at the heart of the Walt Disney World¨ Resort you are never far away from fun and there are complimentary shuttles to transport you to the magical world of Disney.
Overview
Though not technically a Disney-owned hotel, the Dolphin still gets you those all-important perks like Early Entry and free transport to the parks. It’s a sleek, modern resort with a more corporate feel, but it’s right in the EPCOT/Hollywood Studios area — and that location’s hard to beat.
Poolside
There’s a sprawling pool complex shared with the Swan, with waterfalls, hot tubs, and a sandy beach. Loads of space, and you won’t struggle to find a lounger even in busy times.
Food & Drink
Some of Disney’s best restaurants are here, including Todd English’s bluezoo and Shula’s Steak House. There are more casual spots too — it’s a strong lineup whether you’re in the mood to splash out or just grab a slice of pizza.
Entertainment
Not a huge amount of themed entertainment on-site, but you’re within walking distance of the BoardWalk, so nightlife and fun are easy to find nearby.
Sports & Activities
Great gym, tennis courts, and a Mandara Spa. Feels a bit more grown-up, which suits couples or business travellers mixing work with a bit of park time.
