The resort is situated just outside of Lake Buena Vista and is one of the most natural settings in the entirety of the Orlando region. A total of five golf courses surround the resort that draws in a passionate golfing community to the area.
Overview
For something a bit different, Fort Wilderness Cabins offer a peaceful, woodland escape that still puts you close to the parks. These rustic-style cabins are tucked away in a forest setting, and they come with a full kitchen, living area and private deck. Great for families, especially if you want a more relaxed, outdoorsy vibe.
Poolside
There’s a large main pool with a waterslide and splash zone, plus a quieter leisure pool if you want to avoid the crowd. Not the flashiest on property, but it does the job — and it’s rarely too busy.
Food & Drink
You’ve got Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for classic dinner show fun, Trail’s End for hearty family meals, and a takeaway window for fried chicken. Or stay in and cook — the cabin kitchens are fully equipped.
Entertainment
Evenings are full of charm here — think campfire sing-alongs with Chip ‘n’ Dale, movie nights under the stars, and fishing or canoeing during the day. It’s a bit slower-paced, in the best way.
Sports & Activities
Rent bikes or a golf cart to explore the trails, try archery or horse riding, or just enjoy walking around the shaded paths. A great spot if you want to do Disney at a gentler pace.
