  • The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™: Perhaps one of the most thrilling attractions in the whole of Walt Disney World Resortin FloridaHold on tight as you plunge 13 storeys in an elevator at the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith: Race at high speeds through the streets of LA in this super-stretch limo whilst rockin’ out to all the big hits of Aerosmith.

  • Fantasmic!: A firm favourite with most visitors to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, this musical extravaganza features fireworks, lasers, special effects and more, plus all your favourite Disney Characters.
  • Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage: The whole family will love this Broadway-style adaptation of the classic Disney love story.

  • Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream: Follow in the footsteps of the man himself as you embark on a fascinating multimedia journey and see rare, never-before-seen props, models, sketches and more.
  • Muppet*Vision 3D: Prepare to laugh out loud as you join Kermit, Miss Piggy and all the gang for this fantastic film and live-action 3D show.

From Star Wars to Frozen, there’s something for everyone at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Sometimes it can be hard to decide what to try and fit into your time at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, so it’s always good to start planning in advance of your holiday. Below are some of the key shows and parades that you might be interested in reserving your place nice and early. But pick up a Park guide when you arrive too, to give you all the up-to-date information you need to find what’s on where.

  • Voyage of the Little Mermaid: Love The Little Mermaid? Then you’ll love this show. Experience a live stage version using original film clips, classic songs and live puppets. The show runs throughout the day in the Animation Courtyard.
  • Disney Junior – Live on Stage!: Take a trip to Mickey’s Clubhouse where you’ll see all your Disney Junior favourites. Clap your hands and sing along with the Fab Five as they plan a birthday surprise for Minnie.
  • March of the First Order: Captain Phasma leads her army of Stormtroopers from the Stars Wars Launch Bay, down Hollywood Boulevard to Center Stage. This parade is a must for any Star Wars fanatic. ©Disney © & TM Lucasfilm Ltd.
  • Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple: Children will absolutely love this interactive Star Wars experience. They’ll be trained how to use their lightsabers by Jedi knights then taken to face Darth Vader in a battle to defeat the Dark Side.   • For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: Head down to Echo Lake, where you can watch this lively re-telling of one of the most popular films in Disney’s history. As the story unfolds on stage, watch film clips on the big screen, see Anna, Elsa and Kristoff and sing along to all the most popular movie songs including ‘Let It Go’.
  • Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage: Re-live the musical in the famous Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard.
  • Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular: Discover the secrets behind the movie stunts during this 30 minute spectacular. Watch Indy jump from tall buildings, dodge fake bullets and leap from flaming cars, as the director explains how the stunts are performed.   • Fantasmic!: Lasers, smoke, pyrotechnics and all your favourite Disney songs come together in a battle against the Disney Villains, led by Mickey Mouse himself. The curved amphitheatre gives you a great view of the lagoon where a million gallons of dancing water serve as the backdrop to the show. For some, this is the best show at Disney, so well worth putting on your to-do list.
  • Star Wars – A Galactic Spectacular: This is the last show of the day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s a light, laser and pyrotechnic show that transports you at speed into some of the most famous scenes in the Star Wars saga. ©Disney © & TM Lucasfilm Ltd.

Dining

Dine like the stars or stop for a snack in a galaxy far, far away. There’s a huge choice of restaurants and character dining options around Disney’s Hollywood Studio, so sometimes picking the right one for your needs can be quite a big decision. Below are just a few of the best ones to look out for, so pick your favourites and be sure to make a reservation in advance of your holiday.

Snack stops

  • Anaheim Produce: Look for this snack cart on Sunset Boulevard, serving healthy options such as fresh fruit, nuts and vegetables. Try one of their frozen lemonades to give you a boost during hot days in the park.
  • Hollywood Scoops: You can take food into many of the outdoor shows, so stop by and pick up an ice cream or chocolate cookie before you go in. You’ll find it located near the Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage Show on Sunset Boulevard.
  • The Trolley Car Cafe: Found at the entrance to the studios, you can pick yourself up a Starbucks coffee and pastry before you delve into all the action. It’s the perfect way to start the day.

Food on the go

  • Backlot Express: If you want a quick bite of your fast-food favourites, this is the place for you. There are plenty of seating areas outside to eat your burgers, hot dogs and nuggets and make sure you refill your drinks at the self-service fountain.
  • Catalina Eddie’s: Located on Sunset Boulevard, this is a great place to go for lunch. Sit outside and enjoy pizza, pasta or a selection of salads in the warm, Florida sun.
  • Starring Rolls Cafe: There’s plenty of outdoor seating at this popular café. And if sushi is your thing, here is one of the few places in the park you can find it. You’ll find lots of other choices on the menu too, but it’s only open for breakfast and lunch so head there early.

Waiter service restaurants

  • Hollywood Brown Derby: Renowned for its great food and excellent service; treat yourself to a fine dining experience that takes you back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Make sure you reserve a table as soon as you can to avoid missing out.
  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant: Reminiscent of an American drive-in movie theatre, you’re seated in 50s-style cars, facing a giant movie screen. As the sci-fi clips are played in front of you, enjoy American favourites like house-smoked St. Louis-style pork ribs, build-your-own Angus beef burgers or flame-broiled New York strip steak. For those 21 and over, sample the cosmic cocktails on offer, served with glow-in-the-dark ice cubes.
  • Hollywood and Vine: The only restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios where you can experience character dining. Join the cast of Disney Junior for breakfast and buffet lunch, or reserve your table for dinner with Minnie Mouse.

Amongst all the fun and adventure of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are still plenty of opportunities to meet the stars of all the movies that you know and love so well. It’s up to you whether you want to find them in their favourite area of the Park or have them come to you whilst you dine in one of the Park’s great restaurants.
