The Vibe
If you’re a fan of Disney movies, then you’ll absolutely love Disney’s All Star Movies Resort. This 3 star value resort is themed around One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Toy Story, Fantasia, The Love Bug and The Mighty Ducks , which happen to be some of our favourites.
Setting
Disney’s All Star Movies Resort can be found close to the ESPN Wide World Sports Complex and the Animal Kingdom theme park. You will certainly will find that you’ll have more time to enjoy the attractions and spend less time travelling having these two attractions so close by.
Inside Disney’s All Star Movies Resort
The resort’s central building is named Cinema Hall, and the facility includes the Main Lobby check in desk, Concierge Desk, the World Premiere Food Court, the Donald’s Double Feature store which sells Disney merchandise and other holiday requirements and the Reel Fun Arcade.
No need to hire a car here as there are free shuttle buses running to and from the Disney theme parks. Shuttles run from one hour prior to park opening until park closing times. Disney buses travel to all the theme parks including the water parks. If guests choose to stay out at Disney Springs in the evening to wander, eat or take in some entertainment, Disney buses operate from there until 2am every night.
Disney’s All Star Movies Resort has 2 themed swimming pools, a playground, jogging trails and a Reel Fun Arcade where small and big kids can enjoy the video games. There are free resort shuttles to the theme parks. The hotel offers the Key to the World Card which allows guests to put money on their room key to spend in the parks. Guests should ask about this service when they check in. Guests choose the amount of money available to spend and it is linked to the credit card they are using to pay for their stay. Guests can reduce or increase the amount on the card at any time during their stay. Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel allows guests to take advantage of extended park hours when available. Anything purchased at the theme parks can be delivered free of charge to the Resort Hotel.
Food & Drink
The World Premier Food Court is in the central Cinema Hall building. It consists of 5 movie themed marquees serving reasonably priced American cuisine for under $15. It’s a casual, fast food experience so expect omelettes, pasta and other delights.
