Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Hotel Overview

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is just 2 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. As soon as you enter the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge you are already on your African-inspired adventure with glimpses of the wildlife from every angle. Arusha Rock, just outside the main lobby, offers a stunning panoramic view of your holiday kingdom.

Through the magic of Disney you are transported to the African savannah. Here Disney’s Deluxe Resort is set amongst a 43-acre wildlife reserve where exotic animals such as giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, ostriches and antelope roam.

There’s so much to do at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge that you may have to remind yourself there are 4 theme parks to enjoy as well! Cool off from the ‘African’ sun in the amazing 11,000 square foot zero-depth entry Uzima Pool, with 67 foot-long slide, or go on an exciting guided tour of the savannah led by an African wildlife specialist. Keep active by jogging your way around the pool, hiring a bicycle or visiting the Survival of the Fittest Fitness Center. Treat yourself to a massage at Zahanati Massage & Fitness Center or pick up some authentic African themed merchandise at Johari Treasures and the Zawadi Marketplace. You can even catch Disney movies by the pool in Movies Under the Stars.

As a guest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge you can take advantage of the extended theme park hours and enjoy more time in your favourite parks. Any purchases made in the theme parks can be delivered for free to your Resort.

The handy Key to the World Card facility allows you to put money on your room key to spend in the theme parks. It is linked to the credit card used to book your accommodation and you can increase or decrease your limit anytime during your stay.
